Aerie Respite Weekend
Tailored for children and teens, participants will spend their nights in a camp or wilderness setting participating in prescriptive, traditional camp and back country activities. The program is intended to foster and develop friendship and social skills through encouragement and practice of effective communication, listening skills, group play, self advocacy, problem solving, and other life skills. Course activities are used as a vehicle to increase confidence and competence, and ultimately, increasing the child’s ability to participate more comfortably and successfully in social settings.
Ideal candidates for this program include teenagers navigating social or personal difficulties stemming from:
- Learning Disabilities
- Aspergers
- High Functioning Autism
- Poor Self Concept
- Developmental Delays
- Underdeveloped/ Weakened Identity
- Disruption of Home (death, divorce)
- Social Awkwardness & Anxiety

Cost per individual is $450, includes transportation from our Roswell, GA office, food, required gear and activities. Ages 10+
