Special Needs Taboo Talks – Symposium

Southside Support, a 501c3 nonprofit, is pleased to announce its 2016 Symposium Special Needs Conference. This year’s focus is Taboo Talks – hard discussions that are necessary for successful living with special needs.
Topics include:
Life Long Planning
Behaviors now and then – tantrums may be manageable
at three, but what about at thirty?
Toileting – bathroom solutions for toilet training and life
long diaper users
Families under stress – a look at typical stressors in
special needs families
Sexuality – it’s not all about sex

The conference will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9am to 3pm. It will be held at the Studio Cafe located at the Pinewood Production Center at 461 Sandy Creek Road in Fayetteville, Georgia 30214. Doors open at 8am.

Ticket prices start at $40 and includes a hot lunch. Scholarships and sponsorships available.
